Bahá'ís have been part of the Rogue Valley here in Oregon for nearly a century. Bahá'ís strive to give expression to the oneness of humanity, a core principle of our faith, by working to eliminate racial prejudice, advancing the equality of women and men, and building a vibrant spiritual community reflecting the human family in all its diversity. Bahá'u'lláh taught that a just and peaceful global society is now possible for us to build together.

Community-Building Activities
We hold youth, devotional, study, and service activities in neighborhoods around the Rogue Valley.
Race Unity Action
Bahá'ís believe racism is the “most vital and challenging” issue facing American society. But racial harmony will not be achieved until the essential oneness of humanity is recognized by all. Bahá’u’lláh wrote:
O CHILDREN OF MEN! Know ye not why We created you all from the same dust? That no one should exalt himself over the other. Ponder at all times in your hearts how ye were created.
Race unity calls for action, and each individual can be part of the solution. The American Bahá'í community has set up a website filled with information and resources for realizing this long-desired goal.
Community Activities
We offer devotional gatherings for sharing the word of God, study classes for turning faith into action, children’s classes open to all, and special opportunities for young teens to develop their spiritual and moral character. Commemorating a Life of Service
2021 marked the centenary of the passing of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, known to Bahá’ís as the Master and the Perfect Exemplar of his Father’s teachings.
